In early May 2007 major tornado outbreaks significantly impacted portions of the Central United States. The storm cells created an estimated $268 million in damage to community infrastructure. Irby mobilized its crews to provide emergency power restoration services to the Nebraska Public Power District enabling a full return to previous power levels by months end.
